Many still fail when it comes to recognizing mental illness. And the stigma surrounding the topic adds to the confusion.
Heather Sweet is manager of the Mosaic Project through Memorial Behavioral Health. She's also an instructor in Mental Health First Aid. That can teach signs of addictions and mental illness and help develop an action plan. It's open to anyone who wants to learn more and classes are coming up.
