Hindu Temple Of Greater Springfield Breaks New Ground

Over the weekend, members of the Hindu Temple of Greater Springfield prepared for their new temple with "Bhoomi Puja" ceremonies - meant to help break new ground and appease positive energies while honoring the earth.

The temple is now based in a small house-like building on the edge of Chatham. Plans are to build a new 8,5000 square-feet temple on the property. Rachel Otwell visited the weekend's events and spoke with Ramaa Raghuraman and Durga Gorantla for this interview:
