Event Description

Bill Cellini, Jr., of Chicago, a descendant of an Italian immigrant family and Italian genealogy expert, will discuss the history of Italian immigration in Sangamon County. Cellini frequently conducts public seminars on Italian genealogy and has provided post-graduate studies in American History at the University of Illinois Chicago. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Illinois College and a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Columbia College. He is a member of the Roman Cultural Society and Italian American Studies Association.
