The Scene - Live From DUMB RECORDS

Rachel & Scott visit Dumb Records to record with guest host Brian Galecki (R)

This week, The Scene decided to get out on the scene. We hit up Dumb Records(1107 S. Grand Ave.) Scott Faingold and I have been working on an audio-doc about Black Sheep as it gears up for its 10-year anniversary later this month. Dumb is an example of one of the efforts that has spawned from a culture of youth who love music, and have created an environment to make it thrive.

Brian Galecki is a co-owner of the Black Sheep and Dumb, he joined us as a guest host for this episode. He tells us about his efforts, a super cool showcoming up next week, and helps us pick out some records from around the shop to highlight. (For more about the awesome records at the shop, check out the 'Record of the Night' blog, pictures from that are featured in the slideshow above.)

Listen up!
