The Scene Interviews Artist With Plans For Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired Mural

This week Scott and Rachel speak with Springfield artist, Troy Freeman. He plans to put a mural downtown based on a design seen at the Dana-Thomas House, which Frank Lloyd Wright was the architect for. Tune in!

Events discussed include Springfield's annual Dumb Fest - a music festival spread out over three days. It takes place in Southtown and features around 50 bands from all over the country. Read Scott's story about it here.

In Champaign, the experimental, dream-pop group Snayl will host  a listening party for their first full-length album. That's Friday night at the Institute 4 Creativity. More info here.
