John Kelker with Adam Schnell

Hello, I’m Adam Schnell for the 2018 NPR Illinois PodCamp.

John Kelker is the head of the United Way, a company that volunteers and helps out other nonprofit companies.

When I asked John, what was his number one priority was for his job, that’s what he responded with. John really wants to help out nonprofits, and poorer families with volunteer work.

What John meant was he doesn’t exactly think there are frustrating situations, just challenges, and everybody has them.

John has been with the company for a long time! I also learned that he has three step children and seven grandchildren.

John seems to be a very nice man and I am very happy that I could get the chance to interview him!

This has been Adam Schnell for 2018 NPR Illinois PodCamp.
