Renowned food writer Mark Bittman gives us his vegetarian best. Food for a green planet. He’s with us.

Plus, we’ll talk with New York City Marathon winner Shalane Flanagan.

A whole lot of food-conscious Americans are working more vegetables into the diets these days.  Even meat lovers, NBA players, looking for that green way.  For a lighter feeling.  Better health.  A happier planet.  Food maven Mark Bittman loves the trend.  Big thumbs up.  And he knows people want those veggies tasty.
